Welcome to The Salvation Army of Lewiston/Auburn, ME Image

Welcome to The Salvation Army of Lewiston/Auburn, ME

From Church Services to summer camp, food pantry to disaster relief, recreational and educational programs, every thing we do is done in the name and service of God.

Who We Are

Motivated by the love of God, The Salvation Army is dedicated to the Mission of saving souls, growing saints and serving suffering humanity in the 132 countries in which it works.

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church.

Its message is based on the Bible.

Its ministry is motivated by the love of God.

Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Salvation Army in Lewiston/Auburn, ME Worship and Service Center is served by Majors David and Jessica Irwin.

“O people, the Lord has told you what is good,
and this is what he requires of you:
to do what is right, to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 (NLT)

“While women weep, as they do now, I’ll fight. While little children go hungry, as they do now, I’ll fight. While men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now, I’ll fight. While there is a drunkard left, while there is a poor lost girl upon the streets, while there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I’ll fight. I’ll fight to the very end!”  General William Booth

“There is no reward equal to that of doing the most good to the most people in the most need.” General Evangeline Booth
