Louise Reid, for her service to The Salvation ArmyMs. Reid had served with her husband for seventeen years as Salvation Army Officers; starting their career as the first Corps Officers in Old Orchard Beach in 1958 to 1962.  Before moving to Old Orchard Beach in 1996 she served for twenty-four years as Manager of Shareowner Relations and Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of United Technologies Corporation in Hartford, Connecticut.  Upon her arrival in Old Orchard she was asked by The Salvation Army to oversee the construction and direction of the 1,400 seat, Seaside Pavilion Amphitheater.  During her time at the Pavilion she met Mayor Emeritus, William Johnson, of Saco who, upon the completion of her five year contract at the Pavilion, brought her to Saco as the Executive Assistant to the City Manager and Mayor.  In 2003 she was hired as the first Assistant Town Manager in Old Orchard Beach and begins her 14th year with the Town.
