Welcome to the Salvation Army of Sanford, Maine
From church services to summer camp, food pantry to disaster relief, recreational to educational programs, everything we do is done in the name and service of God.
Who We Are
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church.
Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
Currently we are able to help with monthly food baskets and emergency food. Rent/mortgage & utility assistance is available by appointment and when funds are available. Our weekly programming is free and open to all who would like to attend.

Family Services Schedule
Our Family Service office is open Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm and Friday from
9:00 am - 1:00 pm. We offer utility assistance each day. All services are provided by appointment scheduled via telephone.
We also offer a choice food pantry every Friday 9 am to 12 pm
In addition to these services we are available to help in any way we can. Perhaps to help with a budget or maybe even to give some ideas to cook healthy on a budget. Even if we can not directly help we hope to be a resource.
