Our Annual Harvest Auction will be held on October 12th from 6pm to 10pm at The Salvation Army building on S. Park Street. We are still looking for donations. For more information or to donate items to the auction please contact Mary MacKay. There will be hot food and beverages available for purchase with proceeds supporting our youth programs.
Santa's Helper Fund
The Bangor Daily News hosts an event during the Christmas Season that directly supports the work of The Salvation Army in Bangor. Subscribers and readers can make pledges and donations through the newspaper where these donations will be acknowleded. The Santa's Helper Fund raises money which helps support our Christmas Distribution which provides nearly 2,000 children with toys at Christmas.
Red Kettle Campaign
Local businesses generously allow The Salvation Army to collect funds outside of their stores. This money stays local to support our local programs and services. Red Kettles are out from mid-November to Christmas Eve.
We provide the opportunity for children to attend a week-long summer camp experience on Sebago Lake at The Salvation Army's camp. Kids are able to just be kids and have fun as they swim, create crafts, play group games, and experince camp life.
