The 10th Annual Kiwanis Hooksett Community Leaders Award Celebration was held at the Executive Court Banquet Facility in Manchester, New Hampshire. The Salvation Army Hooksett Service Unit received the Community Impact Award for the incredible work and fund raising they do to help others in need in the community.

The Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign in 2018 raised more than $83,000 with help of the many volunteers in the community that stood at various kettle sites.  Funds are used to provide general assistance, holiday meals, food for the Hooksett Community Food Pantry, sponsorships for 20 children for Fun In The Sun day camp program and the annual back to school clothing and supplies program.

The Salvation Army is grateful to Mary Farwell, Hooksett Service Unit head volunteer for the amazing work she does to assist families, individuals and children.
